Notice Of Board of Education Vacancy
The Scribner-Snyder Community Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of board member Aaron Lange at the January 19, 2026, meeting. In accordance with state statutes, the Board will begin the process of appointing an individual to complete the remainder of Aaron Lange's term. This term ends December 31, 2026.
The Scribner-Snyder Community Schools Board of Education is encouraging community members to consider this volunteer position in support of public education and the students of Scribner-Snyder Community Schools. Patrons interested in being considered for the appointment must be a resident of the school district and a qualified registered voter. Applications will be available at the school office located at 400 Pebble Street, Scribner, NE, 68057.

The Board will interview applicants at a Special Board of Education Meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:30pm in the Band Building and will select the candidate following the interviews. The newly appointed board member will take the oath of office at the regular monthly Board of Education Meeting on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 6:30pm in the Band Building.
Application Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12:00 NOON.
