                                                             SPECIAL MEETING

BOARD OF EDUCATION DISTRICT #62

THURSDAY, JULY 31ST, 2025 @ 3:00 P.M.

SCRIBNER – SNYDER HS BUILDING

 

 

OPEN THE MEETING

Call the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m. Scribner-Snyder President Fischer presiding.

 

OPEN MEETINGS ACT

Notice of this meeting was properly published in a newspaper of general circulation by advance Public Notice with notice and advance agenda given to all members of the board prior to the meeting date.  Scribner-Snyder personnel Kate Chrisman, ESU2 personnel Eileen Barks, and DLR Representatives Darin Hanigan & Emily Roesler were in attendance.

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 

ROLL CALL

A call of roll showed 6 members present:  Dyann Bradbury, Jake Brainard, Mike Fischer, Aaron Lange, Lisa Lawton, and Janis Baker.

 

WELCOMING OF VISITORS

Eileen Barks, Darin Hanigan, Emily Roesler

 

ACTION ITEMS

 

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

Bradbury moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented.  Brainard seconded and motion carried 6-yes.

 

DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION TO ACCEPT THE BID PROPOSAL FROM ROGGE CONSTRUCTION FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING PROJECT AND RECONSTRUCTION  OF THREE ALTERNATES.

Brainard moved to accept the bid proposal from Rogge Construction for New Construction of the Building Project and Reconstruction of three alternates.  Bradbury seconded and motion carried 6-yes.

 

DISCUSSION ITEMS

Introduction Slides from Kate Chrisman, Review Grant opportunities for Historic Building, Discuss Gallup Strengths, Workshop District Slogan.

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business on the agenda of this meeting, President Mike Fischer adjourned this meeting at 6:29 p.m.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education of District #62, Dodge County, will be Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Scribner-Snyder Band Room.  Agenda items are kept continually current in the superintendent’s office and may be inspected during regular business hours.
